  1. Yes! I wasn’t expecting a bonus episode, so this was a pleasant surprise. I can’t really comment on any of the movies since I haven’t had a chance to check them out, but hopefully I’ll have a more constructive comment for next time.

I’m super excited for Billchete’s release of his past podcasts. I always wanted to listen to them and now I have a chance.

  2. Geez now you folks are hitting us up with bonus episodes….when will the awesomeness end!?

Another great episode and a great teaser to hold us over until the next episode (today or tomorrow I would hope).

Regarding Dead Snow 2…you had me at “There’s a Tank In It”. I’m going to try not to get my hopes up, but this movie sounds great. I doubt that we will get a wide release up here in the Great White North, but I will keep my eyes open for it.

Finally I really like a topic that you folks subtly touched on; the experience of a movie. A movie could be good or bad, but the total experience and the surrounds factors can make for a great movie experience. I watched The Blair Witch Project in a nearly empty theatre and the few people that were there were completely absorbed by he movie. No one got up to go to the bathroom, no one was talking or laughing and it proved to be very creepy. In fact it is one of the only times that I have seen an audience sit wide eyed and shocked for a few minutes after the movie while the credits were rolling. For me this was a great experience and as a result The Blair Witch Project is a great movie. I contrast this with my theatre experience of Paranormal Activity in which there was a large, mostly young audience, who were more excited about chatting with their friend, playing on their phones and making dumbass comments. It took away from the experience and the movie for me.

Watching a movie is all about an experience for me. I’m sure that we all have those movies that you have loved while under one circumstances and upon a repeat view (and different circumstances) has not stood up. Sometimes with the “Perfect Storm” experience can make the worst movies amazing.

    The Dude

    • Yeah, we seem to always get hosed in canada when it comes to movies released on a limited release or even when it comes to whats available on the Netflix. Which is pretty pathetic in comparison to US Netflix (copyright issues) I guess we are just geographically hanicapped when it comes to more indie films which is pretty lame.

      • You nailed it! The Netflix offerings are embarrassing up here in The Great White North. It’s better to go with something like Zip.ca over the stream instantly option.

  3. Must see Dead Snow 2 – NOW!!!!!!
Thanks guys, keep up the good work!!! I love your long shows as I said before….what I did want to say as a caveat is that if you do have extra long show, maybe you could release them in halves or chapters. I know it’s tougher on the editor, but I download the podcasts and sometimes it’s easier to download a piece at a time (limited space and all)
