Horror Movie Podcast BONUS Ep. 123: Remembering George Romero

HMP George RomeroIn this special bonus episode of HORROR MOVIE PODCAST, we say goodbye to horror legend George A. Romero, who passed away on July 16, 2017. Your regular hosts, Jay of the Dead, Dr. Shock and Wolfman Josh are joined by our fourth official co-host, Dr. Walking Dead, and by special guest Gillman Joel of Universal Monsters Cast and Retro Movie Geek to share their thoughts on the man who created the modern zombie monster and some of the best zombie movies of all time.

“The Horror directors really do kind of change the world, but they do it from behind the scenes. They do it in the late-night theater, in the drive-in, in the VHS tapes. They’re not the ones winning the Academy Awards. They’re not the ones on the red carpet. They’re not the ones who get noticed.” — Kyle Bishop (aka Dr. Walking Dead) Continue reading

CurtainsATTN: HORROR FANS — On behalf of our MOVIE PODCAST NETWORK, Horror Movie Podcast would like to present our first ever SPECIAL FEATURES bonus episode for your listening pleasure. Here are the only four things you need to know:

1. Horror Movie Podcast will continue to be a FREE podcast (and it always will be).

2. You can also subscribe FREE to our Movie Podcast Network feed, which provides short audio teasers of every new episode released across the Network.

3. If you like this Special Features episode, then you can subscribe for a small fee to our MONTHLY Special Features BONUS releases through our Patreon page. (Although this first episode is censored for content, the Special Features feed will be explicit.)

To promote Movie Podcast Network and our new Special Features feed, we have released this first episode for free across the entire Network. But rest assured, all your favorite MPN podcasts will resume their regular releases of their episodes immediately. Thanks for listening. Continue reading
